THE WAR WITHIN
JOSIAH WEPT
Josiah Wept: The War Within
When the lost Book of the Law was found and read aloud to King Josiah, he tore his clothes and wept. Josiah Wept takes its name from that moment: a man undone by the Word, and then met by grace.
The War Within follows the same arc through Romans 6-8 in ten songs. It opens with the cry of a man at war with himself, passes through the fight against the flesh and the stone heart, and ends where Paul does, with no condemnation, adoption, and a love nothing can break.
The sound is guitar-driven post-grunge and alternative rock, with heavy riffs, tense verses, and big melodic choruses sung over them. The songs don't pretend the struggle is easy, and they don't leave you in it.
